Meet Kim Anderson. Kim is a graduate of the University Of Northern Colorado. Shortly after college graduation, she and her husband began purchasing rural property in Colorado and developing the properties into residential subdivisions. Through this process the Anderson's saw the sensibility and security in developing, growing, and holding a real estate portfolio. I fell in love with real estate at the age of eight years out. I'll never forget when my father announced that we were going to sell our old home and build a home from the ground up. My first visit to the new property occurred one early morning before school. I can still remember the wet grass and the sun shining bright over the land. Hi! My name is Wanda Wilburn, Let me take a minute to tell you a little bit about myself.
When I was a child growing up in East Nashville (before it was “cool”), my parents would often use our “Sunday drives” after church to go and visit “open houses” in Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Portland, and other parts of town dreaming for the day when they could afford to “move up”. We saw an awfully lot of houses during those days, and I LOVED being able to step into a new home and smell “that smell” (You know - the smell that comes with fresh wood, freshly painted walls, and new carpet (“shag” at the time))!
As I grew older, I never lost that sense of awe when stepping into a house other than my own. I love looking at houses. Every time I hear of someone getting a new house, I can’t help but ask a dozen questions – how big is it, how many bedrooms, how big is the lot, where is it located, how much did you pay? My love for Real Estate haunted me for so many years!
After graduating from Nashville Tech with an Associate’s Degree in Data Processing, I went to work in the Information Technology field and stayed for 35+ years. I retired in 2014 and went to work for the Kroger Company in Customer Communications/Loyalty. I was never the “programmer” type and yearned to be in a career where I could be in “touch” with people and help them with their needs. I finally gave in and realized that I needed to follow my heart and pursue a career in Real Estate. So, here I am!
After doing tons of investigation, I settled on EXIT Real Estate Solutions in Hendersonville to hang my license. Being central to Nashville, Goodlettsville, White House, Portland, Castalian Springs, Cottontown, Hendersonville was the perfect place to land.
