MARKET UPDATE: 2015 Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report
The 2015 Remodeling Cost vs. Value Report details the remodeling projects that are the most valuable and attractive for homeowners. According to the report, a steel entry door replacement returns the most money, with 101.8% of costs recouped upon resale. This project was also one of the least expensive in the report, costing $1,230 on average. Two other affordable projects that have nice financial payoffs are a garage door replacement (88.4% cost recouped/job cost: $1,595) and a fiberglass entry door replacement (72% cost recouped/job cost: $2,926).
